Most of the tools we get compared to do one half of the job well. Accounting products keep your books but leave you to buy a CRM, an e-signature service and a mail tool separately. Client-management products handle the client work but do not keep books at all.
We do both, we do them in Canadian dollars, and the accounting half is free forever.
Three things none of them offer
- A free plan. Accounting, invoicing and time tracking, free forever. None of the four has a free tier at all.
- AI that books entries. Say “I paid John $500 for maintenance” and the journal entry is written, shareholder loan and all. Their AI drafts emails.
- Canadian by design. GST/HST, PIPEDA, and data hosted on Canadian servers.
